Custom-built by Moonen in 2006, Beluga is an explorer-style motor yacht, last refitted 2011. She was built as a go-anywhere yacht with 4,000 nm range, a robust elegant style, a wide beam, and therefore unusually large volume for her length. She is currently based in Port Douglas, the perfect getaway to the Great Barrier Reef experiences (55minutes drive North of Cairns International Airport).
Beluga’s interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in five staterooms, including a master suite, two double cabins, two twin cabins and two pullman beds. On the main deck aft, a spacious area is ideal for al fresco dining and cocktails. The main saloon table accommodates formal dining evenings in an elegant atmosphere. A powder room in the main foyer leads to the full-beam master cabin and its private office.
On the sundeck, a four-person Jacuzzi, wet bar, exercise area, dining table for six to eight guests, and sun lounging pads create the ultimate relaxing space. Climb up the monkey island or “grand crow’s nest” – the ideal place for whale watching, reef spotting, or enjoying a champagne sunset.
Beluga carries up to six crew on board, led by experienced Captain Bob Nabal, who has sailed Beluga all way around the world finishing in Port Douglas. Beluga offers expedition style charters, private live-aboard charters, mother shipping in Far North Queensland for the annual heavy tackle marlin season, and joint fishing/diving/leisure trips.

DIVING The Ribbon Reefs are generally quite shallow, coming up to as high as 5 metres below the surface from a sandy bottom that is between 15-20 metres below the surface. Cod Hole, as the name suggests, is a dive site famous for cod.
