INEOS Britannia and Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli will compete in the Louis Vuitton Cup Final to decide which of them will take on the America’s Cup holders, Emirates Team New Zealand, in the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup Match.

Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, the team representing the Circolo della Vela Sicilia yacht club, secured their place in the Louis Vuitton Cup Final after a last race against NYYC American Magic.
Facing them now is a fired-up Challenger of Record, INEOS Britannia who secured their place in the Final yesterday having eliminated Alinghi Red Bull Racing 5–2.

Andoo Team Australia’s start in the UniCredit Youth America’s Cup regatta has been delayed another day - with Group B now scheduled to get racing on September 20 in Barcelona.
The base camp is up and running with boxing kangaroos, a big G’day and a great test run on the Aussie barbecue yesterday with family and supporters ensuring they are getting plenty of attention in Port Olimpic.

The Cannes Yachting Festival will commence 10 Sept

The Cannes Yachting Festival will commence 10 September, running until 15 September at Vieux Port and Port Canto in Cannes, South of France.
On show on the marinas at Port Canto is the dedicated Sailing Area, with almost 120 new 10- to 30-metre sail boats, monohulls and multihulls, including 13 world launches.
On shore and within the Palais, there will be displays from shipyards, equipment and services related to sailing.

Emirates Team New Zealand’s AC75, “Taihoro” fell from the crane after racing yesterday in the first encounter of the Challenger Selection Series, the Louis Vuitton Cup.
The team has decided to forgo sailing while damage is assessed.
