ICE Yachts will present the new ICE80 Blue Water and ICE70 Sport at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival.
Both sailing yachts have been developed with Felci Yacht Design, continuing a long-running collaboration between the Italian yard and the design studio across performance cruising and offshore-focused models.
The ICE80 Blue Water will become the yard’s new flagship, conceived as a fast bluewater cruiser capable of combining high average passage speeds with elevated comfort for extended time at sea.
Designed for owners seeking long-range sailing performance without compromising onboard amenity, the ICE80 Blue Water features sleek exterior lines and a distinctive deckhouse incorporating a curved glass skylight inspired by classic 1960s motor yachts.
ICE Yachts has worked to keep the deck arrangement clean and uncluttered, with systems and equipment routed below deck where possible.
The approach is intended to preserve the yacht’s streamlined profile while supporting safe, practical handling offshore.
Construction of the hull and internal structures uses carbon fibre with vacuum infusion and epoxy resin, reflecting the yard’s emphasis on stiffness, weight control and performance.
The yacht is also equipped with a telescopic retractable keel manufactured by APM, with a carbon-fibre structure produced using CNC machining.
The steering system has been developed by JP3 and includes race bushings and an autoclave-laminated carbon-fibre rudder shaft.
While the ICE80 Blue Water is aimed at long-distance cruising performance, the ICE70 Sport represents the latest evolution of ICE Yachts’ sports line.
The new model builds on the existing ICE 70 platform, a key project in the collaboration between ICE Yachts and Felci Yacht Design.
The new Sport version has been developed for owners seeking higher performance in both international regatta competition and fast cruising.
The ICE70 Sport uses epoxy infusion with a hybrid glass-carbon composite hull, while the open version is built entirely in carbon fibre using epoxy infusion. The structural configuration is designed to optimise weight and rigidity.
The sail plan is supported by a full-carbon Axxon rig with a furling boom and Harken electric winches, allowing the yacht to be managed by a reduced crew. For downwind sailing and demanding conditions, the package includes a 388-square-metre A2 gennaker and a 46-square-metre storm jib.
A hydraulically operated retractable keel from Cariboni allows the ICE70 Sport to vary draft from 4.47 metres to 2.75 metres, combining upwind performance with access to shallower anchorages and cruising grounds.
Together, the two models underline ICE Yachts’ focus on lightweight construction, offshore capability and high-performance sailing, with Cannes providing the international stage for their first public presentation.
The Cannes Yachting Festival runs 8 to 13 September 2026.
