One month after the concept’s world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, Fusion 80 continues to capture the imagination with a new category of multihull, the Gran Turismo Catamaran.

The French brand, Gunboat has unveiled its latest concept, the Fusion Project, a luxury performance catamaran that masterfully unites the brand’s racing heritage with the sophistication and comfort of modern yacht living.

With Fusion, Gunboat once again redefines the art of sailing — introducing a completely new segment: the Gran Turismo Catamaran.

Naval architecture comes from VPLP, a firm renowned for offshore racing yachts as well as efficient, lightweight multihulls.

Dual Forward and Aft Cockpits are designed as open-air destinations for living and entertaining.

Interiors emphasise natural light, open proportions, and tactile finishes.

Christian Gavoille and Valérie Garcia designed the yacht's interiors.

The Fusion 80 boasts a 19-square-metre Master Suite.

The exterior lines were created by Patrick Le Quément and Christophe Chedal Anglay, while the interiors were conceived by Christian Gavoille and Valérie Garcia to emphasise natural light, open proportions, and tactile finishes.

Interior designer Christian Gavoille added, “It’s more than a boat: it’s the thrill of speed fused with emotion, where the chemistry of art and design meets and moves with the sea.”

Gunboat have been shortlisted for Interior Design – Concept Yacht Award in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2026.
