28 February 2024

AMEL Yachts, renowned builder of high-end bluewater sailboats, will host the upcoming AMEL Cup Tropics event, set to take place from 17 to 20 March in the Antilles.

Following the success of previous editions in the Mediterranean, this new adventure promises AMEL owners an unforgettable experience setting sail from the marina in Le Marin, the largest marina in Martinique.

A diverse program of activities

The festivities kick off on Sunday 17 at the dedicated event pontoon in the marina, with crew welcome running until 5pm. A briefing will follow at 6.15pm, along with the distribution of Marine Pool packages, a partner of the shipyard. The evening will carry on with a welcoming cocktail reception in a cosy setting by the harbour.

Competition kicks off on Monday with a tour around Diamond Rock, promising thrilling moments and spectacular sights.

Tuesday is dedicated to culture and culinary delights, featuring a visit to a local distillery and rum tasting. Participants will continue this convivial moment with a beachside lunch, followed by leisurely exploration of the region for the remainder of the day.

On the last day, the competition will kick back into gear with the final two racing rounds launching from the marina. Wrapping up the day will be a dinner and prize-giving ceremony, rewarding the best performances and marking the grand finale of this AMEL Cup.
