Aquila Catamarans will present seven models across the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, headlined by the world debut of the new 45 Sail and the European premiere of the 45 Sport.

Aquila Catamarans will unveil the new 45 Sail at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, marking the second model in the brand’s expanding sailing range and the first time Aquila has exhibited dedicated sailing models at Port Canto.

The 45 Sail will make its world debut alongside the award-winning 50 Sail, while Aquila’s power catamaran range will be displayed separately at Vieux Port. Across both venues, the builder will present a seven-model line-up featuring two world premieres and one European debut.

The all-new 35 Sport will make its global debut in the power range, while the 45 Sport will make its European debut. Also on display will be the 50 Yacht, 46 Yacht and 46 Coupe.

The expansive aft cockpit is designed as a central social area, with direct access to the saloon and galley.

The Aquila 45 Sail combines a broad cruising platform with more than 1,350 square feet of upwind sail area.

The Aquila 50 Sail will join the new 45 Sail at Aquila’s dedicated display at Port Canto.

The open-plan saloon and galley are arranged around panoramic windows and a central island.

The owner’s cabin features a full-width bed, natural light and extensive built-in storage.

The owner’s ensuite incorporates a separate shower, generous storage and an integrated laundry appliance.

Held from 8 to 13 September, the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 will showcase Aquila’s sail models at Port Canto and its power models at Vieux Port.

New flagship sailing model

Measuring 47 feet overall with a 25-foot 5-inch beam, the Aquila 45 Sail has been developed for extended cruising with an emphasis on liveability, sailing performance and flexible accommodation.

The design features more than 1,350 square feet of upwind sail area, a fixed bow that increases usable foredeck space, and direct bridge-to-bow access from the flybridge.

The flybridge incorporates a helm station with generous seating and entertaining areas, while the aft cockpit connects seamlessly with the saloon and galley.

Large panoramic windows maximise natural light throughout the interior, with buyers able to choose either three or four-cabin layouts. Each cabin has a private ensuite, allowing accommodation for up to 12 guests depending on configuration.

The 45 Sail has been designed to appeal to both private owners seeking long-range cruising capability and commercial operators looking for a versatile charter platform.

The 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival runs from 8 to 13 September, with Aquila’s sailing range located at Port Canto (SAIL 150) and its power catamarans at Vieux Port (PAN 069).
