East of the Croisette, the Port Canto is the setting of the Sailing Area, the Yacht Brokerage sector and watertoys.

The Sailing Area is a real setting fully dedicated to sailing. Today it is the no. 1 fleet in the world for large sail boats, with almost 120 new 10- to 30-metre sail boats, monohulls and multihulls, including 13 world launches.

With more than 400 metres along the quay for monohull boats and more than 450 metres for multihull boats, the Sailing Area provides a unique display and perspective in the world.

Since 2019, the in-water configuration with new motor yachts in the Vieux Port and the creation of a space dedicated for all sailing boats at Port Canto has been a great success with visitors and exhibitors alike.

Regular Yachting Festival Sailing exhibitors (boat builders and equipment manufacturers) share 4,000-square-metres of quay surface: a perfect stage for the biggest global in-water showcase for new superyachts. Thanks to the wide quays, visitors can comfortably enjoy their visit admiring a wonderful view of the monohull and multihull boats.

The Yachting Festival’s Sailing Area brings together the leading players in the sailing industry and the ultimate in terms of sailing boats and equipment in an amazing setting.

This year, sailing boats will be exhibited in-water facing the stands of the shipyards, equipment manufacturers and service companies. This large area is entirely dedicated to sailing, adding another dimension to the trade show.

The Yacht Brokerage & Toys Area in Port Canto accommodates about 30 pre-owned boats in-water, available for sale or hire. This year, the Yacht Brokerage area accommodated the biggest boat at the Festival with an exceptional length of 73 metres in length.

The space on land is occupied by the nautical toys which have become must-have accessories for big yachts or for a day at the beach.

Running 12 to 17 September, the Cannes Yachting Festival is the first boat show in the European sailing season and Europe’s largest in-water event, bringing together the public and those involved in leisure boating on the Riviera’s most picturesque marina.

Tickets are available online.
