Fountaine Pajot has confirmed that the brand will add a new model, the Tanna 47, to its award-winning cruising range.

Defined by a sleek design, the Tanna 47 offers an abundance of comfort and space alongside vast amounts of natural light throughout its interior.

Featuring a large U-shaped galley, the model offers owner’s a range of onboard innovations, two of the most notable being the 300 litres of storage space and an expansive bay door opening onto the cockpit.

The saloon has been designed to optimise this experience, ensuring carefree living onboard, evident in the addition of its watchkeeping station and its easy access from both the helm and cockpit.

Also presented is a flybridge that boasts a luxurious lounge deck area twice the size of its predecessor, the Saona 47.

Fontaine Pajot has stated that the catamaran can sail short-handed with ease allowing owner’s “clear communication with crew and the company of friends in the lounge deck”.

With a choice of configurations, the Tanna 47 is ideal for private owners and commercial charter operators. The owner’s layout features three cabins, including a master suite with ensuite and walk-in shower, while the quintet version includes five cabins with private ensuites.

In addition to its high performance, the Tanna 47 also enables sustainable and self-sufficient cruising with up to nine square metres of space for solar panels.

Multihull Solutions has confirmed that the broker has already sold four hulls of the Tanna 47. It’s expected that the model will be picked up ex-factory from the Fountaine Pajot’s French shipyard.
