The title defender, Get it On will return to this year’s Bartercard Sail Paradise, which is Southeast Queensland’s largest regatta, scheduled from 30 September to 2 October 2023.

Following his remarkable triumph at the recent Sail Paradise Regatta January, earlier this year, Garry has made a strategic decision. Despite the success of his yacht Get It On, Garry believes that his other vessel, Let’s Get It On (Sail number SYC888), is better suited for Australian Racing conditions. As a result, he will be racing aboard Let’s Get It On in the upcoming Sail Paradise event.

Built in 2004 and boasting a striking blue hull and gold carbon mast, Let’s Get It On is a Corby 36 that has clinched victories at major regattas on the Asian Yachting Circuit.

It earned the title of Australian IRC Champion in 2012 and has secured wins in prestigious events like Brisbane to Gladstone, Geelong Race Week, and Sail Paradise in its early years.

Recently, Let’s Get It On received a comprehensive upgrade, including new components, rigging, instruments, sails, and a fresh coat of paint, all in preparation for Sail Paradise in October.

Garry is determined to ‘defend his title’ with Let’s Get It On and is confident that his yacht is poised for victory. With fierce competitors like Maritimo, Aramex, Black Diamond, Wedgetail, and more, Garry Holt is eagerly anticipating the competitive racing that lies ahead.
