SQ has long stood for Speed and Quality at Dehler and thus for perfect sailing characteristics and state-of-the-art design.
The new Dehler 46 SQ stands out with a new decoration and lighting concept, an intelligent interior layout and high-performance upgrades to the rig and cockpit. The 46 SQ combines pure sailing and comfort in a class of its own.
The deck features a new bathing platform that’s lighter and easier to use, offering an integrated bathing ladder with fold-out handrail and large steps.
The optional cockpit arch also provides an integrated sprayhood with an advantageous sheeting point for the mainsail, replacing the traveller and freeing up space in a tidier cockpit.
What’s more, the 46 SQ can be equipped with sporty Y-spoke wheels, electric racing winches and exclusive coachroof sun pads.

At the helm stations, fold-out footrests provide comfortable and secure footing on windward courses while the backlit Dehler logo offers a choice of light colours.
The rig has seen high-performance upgrades such as a bowsprit with bobstay and integrated anchor arm, which offers a forward tack point for a gennaker or Code 0.
With the Facnor Flatdeck furling system, the drum is significantly lower, allowing for a longer luff and larger sail areas. The innovative system is safer and easier to handle, avoiding riding turns and uneven furling on the drum.
Another new feature is the flying staysail, which allows the headsail to be reduced safely and without shifting the centre of effort. In combination with the second reef in the mainsail, even storms can be mastered.
Tacking on a Code 0 turbocharges performance under sail and creates a touch of the Vendée Globe. With the Competition keel and rudder, taller carbon mast and Quantum high-performance sails, the Dehler 46 SQ promises even more potential.
The interior has seen changes too. To bring more natural light below deck, the hull windows have been enlarged and two additional windows let into the coachroof.
New work surface colours and the updated lounge area complete a much brighter saloon, which can be configured in four different layouts. The port bench seat can be moved up electrically to the large saloon table to create a full-width TV or dining lounge.
The ensuite bathroom offers a separate shower cubicle with an easy-to-care-for, high-gloss design. A newly developed hidden door increases freedom of movement in the bathroom with its elegant outward curve, underlining the luxury design of the master cabin.
Several layouts are also available for the aft cabins, making the interior design of the Dehler 46 SQ more flexible than ever.
The world premiere of the Dehler 46 SQ will be celebrated at the Cannes Yachting Festival, which takes place from 6 to 11 September 2022.
