The Sealegs 7.7 metre Sport D-Tube
In 2017, they will debut the Sealegs 7.7 metre Sport D-Tube—which joins their popular 6.1 metre model in the D-Tube range—and appeals to those who vant more volume in their amphibious craft. A range of new features make it an all-round for exploration and angling.
Like all Sealegs craft, the 7.7 metre D-Tube is powered by Sealegs’ patented Amphibious Enablement System (AES). The AES, which includes a fully marinised system of hydraulically powered legs and wheels, is powered by a marinised 22HP inboard engine. This fully integrated turn-key package uses the same fuel source as the outboard, and is simple to learn and engage.
Designed for rapid deployment, the 7.7 metre D-Tube can be driven from a storage location or trailer down a launching ramp or beach and into the water, with the occupants remaining completely dry inside the boat.
Sirocco’s new range of Brig RIBS
Sirocco Marine will also display 15 Brig models, including the new HT series, in models from 2.9 metres to 3.8 metres. These are light-weight, low-cost yacht, powerboat and cat tender options. It’s a high quality, great value proposition combining Brig and Honda engines, giving owners the advantage of the Brig 6-year, all-inclusive warranty and Honda’s 7-year national all-inclusive warranty.
The Big Eagle 10
Sirocco Marine will also be promoting and taking orders for the game-changing new Brig Eagle 10. Customers can tailor their new RIB to any configurations ahead of the official Australian launch at the Sydney International Boat Show.
“It’s the most exciting launch in the history of Brig,” states Neil Webster, Australian distributor at Sirocco Marine. “It will be the largest at 10m, with twin 300hp engines for loads of oomph. The Eagle 10 will be a true 50 knot boat, and even more thrilling than its speed and stability – the array of unique features will make it a fantastic day boat and weekender suited to all kinds of uses.”
The Eagle 10 was designed as the ultimate RIB cruiser. It boasts a deep-V-hull that ensures a dry, smooth ride. It’s more stable, lightweight and low-maintenance than its hard-sided counterparts, and it’s extremely seaworthy thanks to the Hypalon tubes and their buoyancy and durability.
In addition, it features comfortable seats, a convertible table and sun deck, a sink unit that can accommodate a fridge/stove, a convenient stern swim platform with folding ladder and outdoor shower kit, plus a well-appointed cabin complete with double bed.
Finally, from the UK-built Williams Jet Tender range, the Williams 385 Turbojet Tender will be on show at SCIBS. As well as being a fast, functional yacht tender, the 385 Turbojet comfortably seats five adults and one child with space for storage and is perfect for day trips, a platform for watersports, or pulling up on a secluded beach for a picnic.
It boasts a top speed of 77 kph with the standard engine or 85kph if you opt for the ‘S’ version engine.
