Australian water sports apparel company, Zhik have announced the re-release that their original, award-winning adjustable, nappy-style harness, the T2 Trapeze.

Featuring a reworked design, this new T2 Trapeze is distinctively lighter, weighing 15 percent less than the previous iteration.

Available in four sizes, the T2 Trapeze weighs 1.28 kilograms dry and 1.68 kilograms wet at its largest measurements – guaranteeing compliance with the World Sailing Racing Rules 2021–2024’s maximum weight requirement of two kilograms.

Designed for a close, firm fit to provide personalised back and pelvic support, the T2 Trapeze harness enables complete athletic movement and kinetic connection to a boat.

Also featured are internal adjustable lumbar supports and easily adjusted padded shoulder straps to provide a complete, customisable wear, reducing risk of injury to both the lower and upper back.

The use of a 2D Velcro system means a wearer can adjust the fit over different layers, creating a versatile fit to suit both winter and summer sailing while an integrated spreader bar keeps the hook close to the body for instant reaction from on the wire.

This choice of Velcro also enables the harness to be removed quickly in an emergency or for a quick break between races – offering a wearer both comfort and safety.

On this note of comfort, the reinforced stretch neoprene crotch area gives a wearer unparalleled levels of ease while the fast-draining outer fabric, internal foam Kevlar reinforced seat combine to reduce water retention and wear.

The T2 Trapeze harness is currently available to be purchased at a price of $299.95 AUD.
