Anahita, a groundbreaking 100-foot cruising trimaran, was unveiled during Metstrade 2025 in Amsterdam. The event united key figures from the world of high-performance yacht design, including renowned sailor and CDK Technologies strategic advisor Loïck Peyron, Yann Prummel, exterior designer at VPLP Design, and Lucien Boyer, CEO of CDK Group.
Born in Brittany’s Sailing Valley, Anahita marks a significant leap in luxury performance yachting, combining a hybrid of pre-preg and infused carbon – materials and techniques perfected in offshore racing – demonstrating exceptional French naval craftsmanship.
Designed by VPLP, Anahita’s architecture breaks from conventional superyacht aesthetics, and her sculptural, aerodynamic form balances elegance with technical precision.
On board, 123-square-metres of customisable interior space create a generous, light-filled living environment, with highlights including a 12-square-metre owner’s suite with panoramic sea views and direct deck access, a 25-square-metre cockpit, expansive exterior lounges, and 160-square-metres of forward trampolines that extend the onboard experience toward the horizon.
“Anahita began as a blank sheet and the desire to create a 100-foot trimaran that could unite racing demands with cruising comfort,” said designer Yann Prummel.
“We took inspiration from the water strider – an insect whose motion blends speed, stability, and precision. The result is a yacht that merges the purity of a racing vessel with the comfort of a cruiser, while maintaining an identity all her own.”
Blending speed, elegance, and engineering – plus drawing heavily from offshore racing’s most advanced innovations – the trimaran configuration was an obvious choice for the project’s engineers, as explained by Ronan Guérin, Co-founder of Global Yacht Technology.
“The trimaran quickly emerged as the obvious solution. More stable, more powerful, and safer than a catamaran, but also faster, more seaworthy, and better balanced,” he said.
“This architecture allows us to reach a level of performance and comfort previously unattainable in large luxury yachts.”
