Power and precision

After impressive sailing trials the first Hanse 460 is on its way to its World Premiere at the Barcelona Yacht Show.

German builder, Hanse will host the World Premiere of the all-new Hanse 460 in Barcelona, Spain at the Barcelona Yacht Show, 12 to 17 October, an event that’s been keenly anticipated by many sailing enthusiasts from all over the world eager to see one of the top designs of 2021 on the water.

Hanse Yachts has brought a potent new dynamic to the 460: a combination of powerful lines from renown French naval architecture firm Berrett-Racoupeau and precision German engineering inherent across the entire Hanse sailing range.

Overlayed on this new design are Hanse’s well-established core values of performance cruising and easy sailing for two people.

Add cockpit space usually associated with a 50-foot yacht with highly enviable cabin dimensions and you have a template for an unrivalled sailing experience in a boat of this class.

Slotting in-between the Hanse 458 and the 508, the 460 offers customers the opportunity to highly personalise their yacht with the choice of no fewer than 12 layouts.

Versions from a three-cabin, two-head ‘Classic’ layout with nav table to cater for long distance cruising, to a five-cabin three-head version that will appeal to sail charter and training operators and is capable of sleeping 10 in private, generous accommodations.

There are also Cruising, Performance, Comfort and Flagship packages to specifically tailor your 460 to your individual preference.

Once at a secluded anchorage take advantage of the spacious cockpit with twin tables that can covert to sun beds, or host a soiree with drinks from the wet bar, accompanied by barbecue appetisers. Or simply relax and soak-up the sun on the large swim platform.

The Hanse 460’s versatility extends to the yacht’s elegant interior with layout combinations that give customers every opportunity to configure the Hanse 460 to suit their families needs. Additional fridges, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, a compact wine cellar, a forward facing nav station or a washing machine in the laundry room?

The initial response to this new design has been unprecedented with over 150 boats sold prior to the unveiling of the first one.

Australian dealer, Windcraft has already sold out of the first six stock boats ordered and is currently negotiating more before they are presented to the world at the Barcelona Boat Show next week when another strong surge in sales in anticipated.

The first Hanse 460 destined for Australia and New Zealand will leave the factory in Germany early in 2022 and is planned to make its Australian premiere at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May 2022.
