Revo has launched Preston, a new wrap-style navigator that combines the brand’s NASA-inspired polarised lens technology with a lightweight, secure frame designed for extended wear on and off the water.
As official eyewear partner of the US Sailing Team, Revo has a strong connection to competitive sailing, where reducing reflected glare and maintaining clarity in rapidly changing light are particularly important. Preston uses the brand’s polarised Serilium® lenses, engineered to reduce glare while enhancing contrast, clarity and colour definition.
For sailors, those characteristics can help improve visual comfort on long days afloat and make it easier to discern detail on the water, particularly in bright conditions where reflected sunlight can compromise visibility.
The Preston frame features a contemporary wrap-style navigator profile, lightweight construction and integrated spring hinges for a secure, comfortable fit. It is available in three colourways.
Revo’s lens technology has its origins in coatings developed by NASA to protect satellite equipment from solar radiation. Founded in 1985, the company adapted that technology for sunglasses and has since focused on high-contrast polarised eyewear for sport and outdoor use.
The new Preston extends that technology into a more versatile frame intended to move between performance use, travel and everyday wear, while retaining features particularly relevant to sailing and life on the water.
