Simple to handle, whether at port or under way, out for a quick sail on a sunny day or sailing around the world, aboard the Sun Odyssey 380, life is easy, with multiple clever innovations and advantages that make all the difference.

This new addition is designed by Marc Lombard for the naval architecture and by Piaton Bercault and CO for the interior.

“Hull, appendages, sail plans, design and ergonomics, layouts, weight estimates, everything has been designed, down to the smallest details, to make her the best sailboat in her size category,” states Marc Lombard, a naval architect heavily inspired by race boats and a historic partner of Jeanneau.

The inverted bow increases efficiency downwind, responsiveness at the helm, and ease of handling at port.

A CAREFULLY STUDIED DECK PLAN

Her powerful hull perfects the cruising experience.  In addition to being particularly safe, with unencumbered side decks and comfortable coamings, this Sun Odyssey features a lower boom, facilitating access to the sail and increasing the sail area.

The lifting keel enables you to dry out on the sides, using removable poles, without impacting performance.

Her incomparable ease of movement onboard is unique in this category. Life is easy, but vibrant and full of movement!

AN INVITING INTERIOR DEDICATED TO WELL-BEING

On the interior, while the design features the hallmarks of this line, so appreciated by owners, careful consideration was given to the perception of space and the simplification of lines, with the objective of creating sensations of peace and calm.

With clear, clean, simplified lines, the interior stands out for its homogenous, contemporary aesthetic and its exceptional comfort.  The interior design reveals a surprising potential for a sailboat of this size.

Ingenuity and attention to detail are equally evident: a rectangular berth in the forward cabin, a daybed on the keel box for greater comfort while sailing on rougher waters, and the possibility of having three spacious cabins or two, with two separate showers and a storage locker.

The base boat includes the factory fitted Premier Pack, duty, GST, shipping to a major Australian port, freight insurance, transport to a commissioning yard in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Perth, antifouling and commissioning. The advertised price is also subject to currency fluctuations which may change without notice.

Alternatively an ex-tax & road freight delivery to a French port for commissioning can also be arranged.
