Showcasing the new modern design styles from the Australian owned multi-national boat builder, the Seawind 1370 will make its Australian debut at SCIBS 2025, 22 to 25 May.
The Seawind 1370 has been an outstanding success for the company with over 90 new boats sold following its off-plan release just a few years ago and was recently awarded Best Boat of 2025 by Cruising World and SAIL’s Top Boats. Now with production fully up and running, a new boat is launched from the Vietnam factory every three weeks allowing earlier production availability.
The design features a modern new style with raked bows, flat decks and chined hulls for greater volume than in previous Seawind designs with a galley up, yet stays true to the brand’s DNA with the open plan living thanks to the tri-fold door arrangement, single level living, twin helms and optimised sail plan for performance.

The Seawind 1370 on display was shipped to Australia during summer and commissioned by Multihull Central in Sydney with new boats arriving every other month. However delivery from South East Asia is also available with Thailand pick up becoming a popular alternative.
Becoming equally popular is Mediterranean pick up of the new Seawind 1170 catamaran that is now manufactured in Turkey where Seawind established a brand new manufacturing operation in recent years.
Seawind 1170 was developed in the shadow of the hugely popular Seawind 1370, sharing similar design lines but with a smaller and more economical package, ideal for visiting the busy ports in the Mediterranean. The boat is quickly becoming a popular choice for Australian cruisers with several new boats expected to arrive in Australia in 2025 to cruise the east coast and beyond.
Multihull Central are the exclusive Australian and New Zealand distributor for Seawind Catamarans with offices in Sydney, the Gold Coast and Opua New Zealand. There is limited opportunities for delivery of both models in 2025.
