Seawind reveal

The all new Seawind 1170 will make its official Australian debut at the Seawind Display Days on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 March at Multihull Central in Annandale.

This is hull number two of this brand-new production model featuring a stylish new shape similar to its bigger sister the Seawind 1370, with greater headroom and volume throughout yet still fantastic performance, thanks to its double chine hull.

The new generation of Seawind still stays true to Seawind’s DNA though with forward opening windows in the saloon and massive living spaces thanks to the tri-fold doors.

The Seawind 1170 will be on display alongside a Seawind 1160 Lite, Seawind 1190 Sport, Seawind 1260 plus a Corsair 760, showcasing the builder’s exceptional range in entry level performance cruising production multihulls.

Each model has some limited production opportunities for 2024 and 2025.

The new 40 footer carries similar styling lines to the 1370 and new modern hull shape.

The Seawind 1170 is set up with a longeron beam standard with optional stayless carbon bowsprit.

Ergonomics, layout, and functionality in common with the Seawind 1160 and 1260.

The raked bows keep bouyuance forward while the new flat decks make walking the fore deck easier.

The hull shape features chines on the inboard and outboard hulls, providing both reserve buoyancy, interior space.

The new model represents value and comfort for live aboard cruisers.
