Italian sailing apparel brand SLAM has confirmed it will continue as Official Technical Apparel Supplier to Emirates Team New Zealand for the 38th America’s Cup scheduled to take place in Naples in 2027 for the first time – extending a partnership initially forged during the successful Barcelona 2024 campaign.
Following its victory in the 37th America’s Cup, secured in Barcelona against INEOS Britannia, Emirates Team New Zealand returns to defend the Auld Mug with the goal of writing a new chapter in the history of world sailing.

The road to the 38th America’s Cup has kicked off in Cagliari with the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup Preliminary Regatta Sardinia, the first official event on the Road to Naples 2027.
From 21 to 24 May, the AC40s competed in the waters of the Gulf of Angels – the start of a campaign that will culminate in Naples with the first-ever edition of the America’s Cup hosted in Italy.
The event marks a new phase in the history of the competition, thanks to a renewed format, a growing number of participating teams, evolving technical regulations, and the increasingly important role of the Women & Youth programmes.
