Saffier Yachts has launched the Saffier SL 46 MED and released the first sailing images of the new yacht. The 46-foot (14-metre) sailing yacht is the latest addition to the Saffier Yachts range, and the Dutch shipyard says it has been developed with a focus on performance, stability and single-handed sailing capability.

Following an extensive testing phase, the Saffier SL 46 MED has now completed its initial miles under sail. The yacht has been adjusted to optimise handling, ensuring a balance of speed and responsiveness with stability. It is now available for test sailing with prospective customers.

“Seeing the Saffier SL 46 MED touch the water for the first time is a moment of immense pride,” says Dennis Hennevanger, CEO of Saffier Yachts.

“This yacht represents the dedication, skill and passion of our entire team.

“From concept to reality, we have worked together to create something truly exceptional—bringing luxury, performance and craftsmanship to a new level. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together as a team.”

The Saffier SL 46 MED features a modern hull design aimed at optimising sailing performance, with a top speed of 18 knots. The interior offers a functional and comfortable living space that incorporates high-quality materials and finishes with welcoming colourways.

The yacht’s cockpit, which offers space for relaxation and socialising, is designed for outdoor use, while the open aft design ensures direct access to the water.

Based in IJmuiden, The Netherlands, Saffier Yachts specialises in the production of sailing yachts designed for single-handed operation. The company delivers approximately 145 yachts annually to customers worldwide.
