The Cygnet 20, built by Bluewater Cruising Yachts, is a versatile craft to cruise Australia’s vast and beautiful waterways. This light and fast modern gaffer is an ideal inshore cruiser or club racer. The Cygnet 20 can be put on a trailer and towed behind the family car.

Bluewater Cruising Yachts has taken its 16th order to a Northern Territory couple which now means Cygnet 20 orders are booked to Sept/Oct 2020.  The rigging is quick and easily done on the trailer or in the water. Water ballast, pumped in or out through the large capacity bilge pump, ensures safety and performance while sailing.

Hull #4 will be shipped to Western Australia shortly, and exhibited at Mandurah Boatshow, 17-18 November 2019. The last 3 orders for 2019 are in New South Wales, another Western Australia and Queensland.

“It was also envisaged that as numbers grew we could form a small fleet to “Raid” – sail and row on beautiful Australian rivers/waterways, and so far have been on Hawkesbury and Hunter Rivers,” says David Bradburn, Managing Director of Bluewater Cruising Yachts. “The oars are proving a popular option to take advantage when there is no wind and partake in some exercise. “

A draft schedule of Raids for 2020 is currently being drafted.
