Designed to meet the needs of bluewater cruisers and regatta sailors, Zeus3 is designed to deliver clear, fast and controllable data. With an easy-to-use interface and new high definition screen technology incorporating ultra-wide viewing angles, the latest addition to the B&G product line help sailors see vital information in even the worst of sailing conditions.

Recognising the need for sailors to be able to see their data from a variety of positions on the boat, the Zeus3 incorporates a high-performance multifunction screen in either 7-, 9-, 12-, or 16-inch widescreen displays with SolarMAX HD technology for daytime visibility and ultra-wide viewing angles. The touchscreen is functional even when drenched by a wave or spray: a rotary dial and keypad ensure control of all the device’s functions when the weather gets rough. Both sets of controls can be used simultaneously, or Zeus³ can be switched to non-touch mode if extreme weather conditions are expected.

The Zeus3 also delivers information in ultra-quick time with its new high-performance processor that enables rapid chart redraw while moving, panning or zooming. This allows sailors to see what is happening around their boat with no time lag or delay.

Zeus³ software was designed specifically for sailors. It has an array of sail-specific functionalities such as displaying key data on a single screen with SailSteer, showing LayLines overlaid on charts, and improving planning accuracy with Sailing Time. In addition, RacePanel delivers a range race-proven functionality, previously reserved for grand prix racing yachts, including integration with B&G H5000 tactical systems for additional analytical and predictive capabilities.

Built-in wi-fi lets sailors access GoFree online services to download charts, weather information, PredictWind bulletins and software updates directly to their Zeus³ display via any internet hotspot. GoFree also enables mirroring of the Zeus³ screen on a compatible smartphone and control of the chartplotter system from a compatible tablet, giving sailors the ability to view the screen from anywhere on board.

Built-in ForwardScan sonar support offers safer passage through shallow and poorly-charted waters; users can add a ForwardScan transducer for a clear on-screen view of the depth ahead. Zeus³ displays also offer plug-and-play support for Broadband Radar and AIS solutions, enhancing situational awareness with tools like MARPA target tracking and AIS overlay in crowded harbours, on a passage or during regattas. Complete autopilot integration means short-handed and single-handed sailors can take immediate control of their B&G autopilot system from any B&G Zeus³ display on board.

Zeus³ also connects seamlessly to a wide range of sensors, instruments, displays, expansion modules, and accessories; it is a fully-integrated electronics solution to provide greater safety, performance, and enjoyment on the water.

The Zeus3 chartplotters are priced at:

Zeus3 – 7 inch             RRP $2299

Zeus3 – 9 inch             RRP $3299
