Developed from the award-winning Oyster 495, the new Oyster 515 introduces a larger sail plan, contemporary styling and a completely redesigned deck layout intended to strengthen the yacht’s connection with the water.

Designed in collaboration with Humphreys Yacht Design and Oyster’s in-house Design Studio, the new model represents the latest evolution of the British builder’s established 50-foot platform.

The most significant change is found aft, where Oyster has created a beach club-inspired living area with aft-facing seating, a sunken lounge and an enlarged fold-down bathing platform.

Designed for relaxing, entertaining and swimming at anchor, the new arrangement creates a dedicated waterside living space while retaining the practicality required for extended cruising.

Increased lazarette storage provides space for cruising equipment and water toys, while owners can choose between an integrated tender garage or conventional davits.

Below deck, additional volume has been used to improve comfort during extended passages. Enlarged Seascape windows bring more natural light into the interior, which retains Oyster’s signature raised deck saloon and full-beam aft owner’s stateroom.

A three-cabin layout provides accommodation and privacy normally associated with larger yachts.

The Oyster 515 also gains a revised sail plan with increased sail area, twin rudders and powered sail-handling systems. Oyster says the yacht has been designed to remain manageable for a couple or family, with or without additional crew.

New wing seats positioned beside the helm stations provide an elevated view forward, while an optional shoal-draft keel expands access to shallow anchorages and more remote cruising grounds.

Oyster Yachts CEO Stefan Zimmermann Zschocke said the Oyster 515 had been shaped by more than 50 years of bluewater design, construction and owner support.

The Oyster 515 builds on the success of the Oyster 495 and everything we have learned from more than 50 years of designing, building and supporting yachts for bluewater sailing,” he said.

“We have evolved her around how owners want to sail and live today, combining true ocean-going capability with a completely reimagined aft deck, a closer connection to the water and a state-of-the-art beach club experience unlike anything else currently available in this class.”

Zimmermann Zschocke said the Oyster 515 marked the beginning of a new generation of Oyster bluewater yachts and would be followed by further product and innovation announcements in the coming months.

The launch follows a period of continued activity for Oyster Yachts, including the sale of two Oyster 885s through Oyster Brokerage in a single week and further investment in the company’s global service network.

Oyster has also acquired a dedicated dock at its Barcelona Service Centre to expand support for owners cruising in the Mediterranean.

The builder will hold its 50th Oyster Regatta in Palma de Mallorca in September 2026, while the Oyster World Rally 2026–27 continues its passage across the South Pacific.

Founded in the United Kingdom, Oyster Yachts has produced luxury bluewater sailing yachts for more than 50 years. Its yachts have collectively completed more than 20 million bluewater miles and over 100 circumnavigations.
