All set for Denmark

Copenhagen, Denmark will host the fourth event of Sail Grand Prix Season 3, with all eyes on home favourites ROCKWOOL Denmark SailGP team.

SailGP – sailing’s pinnacle league – heads to the greenest capital on Earth to deliver an action-packed weekend for the ROCKWOOL Denmark Sail Grand Prix.

Located in Copenhagen with its stunning harbourfront and strong tradition for yachting, fans in Denmark will experience the adrenaline rush of supercharged foiling F50 catamarans for the second time.

Home favourites, Denmark SailGP Team presented by ROCKWOOL is driven by Nicolai Sehested with Olympic medallists Katja Salskov-Iversen, Anne-Marie Rindom and Martin Kirketerp.

The team will go head-to-head with nine of the world’s best sailing crews on Danish waters in a nation vs. nation battle for the global championship.

Excitement and drama will be nonstop as the fleet of identical foiling F50s fly by spectators at speeds of up to 100 kph.


ROCKWOOL Denmark Sail Grand Prix is the fourth event of Season 3 of the global SailGP sailing championship after Bermuda, Chicago and Plymouth.

The Australia SailGP Team took first place in both Bermuda and Chicago, while won by New Zealand SailGP Team won in Plymouth.

ROCKWOOL Denmark Sail Grand Prix is held in collaboration with the Danish team’s main sponsor ROCKWOOL and the City of Copenhagen and Sport Event Denmark.

ROCKWOOL Denmark Sail Grand Prix will take place on 19 and 20 August 2022.
