The National Couta Boat Titles will follow a weekend of racing on Sydney Harbour for the NSW Couta Boat Titles and the SASC Gaffers Day on Sunday 16 October.
At least 14 Couta Boats will be making the trip from Melbourne for the regattas along with Jim Wilshire and his boat Southerly coming from Perth. Around 150 sailors and guests are expected to attend.
Avalon Sailing Club will be hosting this event once again, with a total fleet expected to approach 20 boats with over 100 Sailors plus supporters.
The Coutas will be making their way to Pittwater from Monday 17 October, with a number of social and sailing events scheduled for the week.

Wednesday 19: Couta Boats are welcome to join the RPAYC afternoon and Woody Point twilight races. The BBQ & bar will be open for sailors after racing.
Friday 21: Avalon will host the “ASC Invitation Race” followed by a BBQ at the cub.
Saturday 22: Starting with breakfast at the club, there will be 3 winward, leeward races for the Nationals. The day will finish with a gala dinner hosted at the Club.
Sunday 23: Starting with breakfast at the club, there will be a passage race around Pittwater and Broken Bay followed by prize giving with food and drinks.
