Now that COVID-19 restrictions have eased in many countries, and it is safe to go back on the water again, Australian based marine apparel brand Zhik have introduced a new Face Mask that is weatherproof, washable and comfortable.

In fact, Piet Poelmann, CEO of Zhik has tested it himself.

“When it gets wet with the spray of the bow, it still feels very comfortable. It is quick drying on the downwind stretch. Best of all, at the end of the day, just hand wash it; and you are ready for another great day on the water,” said Poelmann.

As well as on the water, it’s also suitable on shore, as so many sports and activities require a face mask to be worn, while social distancing during exercise.

The Face Mask is a non-medical grade and made of Polyurethane foam which feels comfortable on the skin and is quick drying. For high activity, the mask features a regulating one-way valve to breathe out easily. In case of an emergency, the mask can be removed quickly with one hand.
