Just two years after the release of the Amel 50, the French boatbuilder has presented the Amel 60, officially revealed at Cannes Yachting Festival.
This new 18-metre model features naval architecture by Olivier Racoupeau.
The Amel 60 offers many advantages over her sister ship, including an extra 10 feet, more volume, details and fittings, as well as modern comforts to be enjoyed at sea and at anchor.
In addition to its layout and renewed design, the Amel 60 has a wealth of technology, such as its rigging, consisting of a new carbon mast with furling mainsail, which increases its performance and comfort at sea. It is also equipped with two electric furlers for the front sails, a self-tacking jib, making it easier to sail with less crew.
The comfortable helm station, well sheltered behind its windshield, is a central spot for helming.
Below deck there is a large living space in the saloon, an ultra-equipped high-end galley and three cabins each with a bathroom, while above deck there is a large protected cockpit, opening onto sunbathing areas ideal for relaxation.
