Performance Cruising Yachts now represents the Solaris Yachts range across Australia and New Zealand, providing local sales, commissioning, technical and after-sales support.

Founded in Aquileia, Italy, in 1974, Solaris has more than 50 years’ experience building performance cruising yachts, combining Italian craftsmanship with contemporary design, engineering and sailing performance.

The current range comprises seven Flush Deck models – the 40, 40ST, new 44, 50, 55, 60 and new 74 – and four Raised Saloon models, from the 64 RS through to the 33.77-metre 111 RS flagship.

The Solaris 55 combines performance sailing with the Italian builder’s distinctive contemporary styling.

The Solaris 74 is among the latest models in the Italian builder’s performance cruising range.

Solaris Yachts Sales Manager Vincenzo De Maria welcomed the appointment.

“We are delighted to appoint Performance Cruising Yachts as the dealer for our Solaris Yachts range. We know Matt Hayes and his team will do an incredible job representing and growing the brand in Australia and New Zealand,” he said.

PCY CEO and founder Matt Hayes said the Solaris range was a natural fit for the company and its customers.

We are delighted to be representing Solaris Yachts in Australia. Solaris is a respected brand known for its quality, and we look forward to working with the Solaris team to grow the brand,” Hayes said.

Hayes experienced the marque first-hand at the Solaris Cup in Porto Rotondo, Sardinia, earlier this year, where around 80 Solaris yachts gathered.

“It was very clear that these are yachts for people who genuinely love sailing,” he said.

Hayes also inspected the Solaris 50, 55, 60 and 64 RS at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September and received a preview of the new Solaris 44, which is scheduled to debut in November 2026.

The addition of Solaris Yachts expands PCY’s portfolio of sailing and powerboat brands and gives prospective owners in Australia and New Zealand direct access to the Italian builder’s performance cruising range.
