Sailing into the record books, the first Mini yachts competing in the McIntyre Mini Globe Race have reached the finish line after a 13-month and 24,000 nautical mile solo race around the world.
The McIntyre Mini Globe fleet has set off on the last leg of the solo around the world race.
Recife, Brazil will be the final stop for the 11 “mighty minis” in the McIntyre Mini Globe Race before a 2,500 mile sprint to the finish at the National Sailing Academy in Antigua in early March.
It was a wet and wild first leg, 1,200 miles from Antigua to Panama in the start of the inaugural McIntyre Mini Globe Race 2025.
